SANUS Clinic was our third experience with fertility treatment, after France and Spain. I am 46 years old—45 at the time of treatment—and I did not have any children. My partner is 52 and has two grown-up sons.

After six embryo transfers as part of donor egg IVF treatment in Barcelona, we were advised not to continue and not to “keep trying at all costs,” as we were told during a final phone call.

The very next day, I contacted Anna from SANUS Clinic in the Czech Republic.

Our first conversation was immediately comforting. I quickly completed my medical file, and Dr Jiří Štěpán reviewed it in great detail. One week later, I received a positive response confirming that treatment at SANUS could be possible.

Compared with our previous experiences, we found the communication faster, clearer, more efficient and, I would even say, more compassionate.

One month later, the donor had been selected and stimulation had begun. We travelled to Hradec Králové for a one-week stay that was fully organised by the clinic. We felt no stress at all. During the treatment week, we even had time to visit Prague and do some sightseeing. This allowed us to forget, or at least reduce, the medical aspect that is inevitably part of every fertility journey.

As a woman, I had reached my limit with gynaecological examinations, despite my overwhelming desire to carry a child and become a mother. The team at SANUS Clinic, particularly Dr Štěpán, made everything easier. They understood my exhaustion, distress and fear of another failure after so many attempts in France and abroad.

With them by my side, I felt reassured, which helped me cope with the treatment more positively. The doctor encouraged me to remain confident. His reassuring words helped erase the word “persistence” that I had heard one month earlier.

After the second transfer, an embryo successfully implanted.

Thirty-nine weeks later, our son Marius was born, and our entire life changed. We are now discovering something truly wonderful.

It is a wonderful journey in which every detail matters. Symbolically, I experienced egg donation as another woman—the donor—extending a helping hand to our couple. It was also the experience and professionalism of the medical team that finally allowed me to let go, both for myself and for us as a couple.

 

Our story is a little unusual, as I am already fortunate enough to be the mother of two teenagers. Sadly, I lost their father several years ago. I then met J. almost two years ago. He did not have any children, and his dream was to become a father.

Because of my age—I was 44—there were no treatment options available to us in France. We therefore quickly began exploring treatment abroad. During our research, we discovered SANUS Clinic through the website of the association Les Cigognes de l’Espoir.

Anna contacted us, and that marked the beginning of a wonderful journey. Everything was always straightforward with her. We received answers to all our questions and felt reassured at every stage.

We underwent IVF treatment using donated eggs, and I became pregnant on our first attempt.

Our first contact with Anna was at the end of March 2025. We then chose the Prague package from 9 to 16 July. Our little miracle was born on 12 March 2026. She is perfectly healthy and brings us so much happiness.

We contacted SANUS Clinic at the beginning of 2025 to receive help with our dream of having a child, due to a low ovarian reserve. We therefore began an IVF journey using donated eggs.

Our first attempt, in April 2025, was unsuccessful. We tried again in August 2025, and this time it worked. At the beginning of September, we received confirmation that I was pregnant.

Our baby was due on 21 May 2026, but our little Victoire arrived on 5 May 2026. We are proud and incredibly happy to have her with us.

Without you, this would not have been possible, and we sincerely thank you.

Our stays also allowed us to discover the Czech Republic, a country we previously knew very little about and which pleasantly surprised us. We also greatly appreciated your support throughout the entire journey.

Thank you for everything. We will certainly return with our daughter in a few years so that she can discover this charming country for herself!

I wanted to let you know that R. is doing well—already 7 months old as of 17/04/2024. He keeps babbling and is well above the growth charts. I’m sending you some photos.

Thank you to the Sanus clinic for helping me fulfil my dream of giving birth to two wonderful babies.

Five years of fertility treatments in France, inseminations that resulted in an ectopic pregnancy, numerous IVF cycles and embryo transfers, pregnancies that ended prematurely, and then nothing. I finally decided to turn to egg donation. I had long known about @Les Cigognes de l’espoir and wanted to go to the Czech Republic, but hesitated between several recommended clinics there.
With my partner, we attended an introductory meeting, toured the clinic, and met Anna, our coordinator. We chose Sanus without hesitation. The organisation is excellent, Anna responds very quickly to our questions. The stay is very well organised (we opted for the package with the studio, which is a spacious and comfortable one-bedroom apartment), the clinic is clean and beautiful, the doctor took a real interest in our personal case and explained everything clearly. We obtained good-quality embryos and had a miracle pregnancy on the first try. Our baby was born on 25 October, following a transfer on 30 January. Thanks to everyone, especially Anna!

Ten years ago, after seven years together, we decided to start a family. Unfortunately, it wasn’t easy! After several years of repeated failures in France, our gynaecologist mentioned egg donation and going abroad due to waiting times. After some research and thanks to the Association des Cigognes de l'espoir, we chose the Sanus Clinic.
We had Anna for communication, a lovely person, just like the team once we arrived! So, it began — three months after our first contact, on 11 October 2023, we headed to the Czech Republic. We received exceptional welcome and care, from the moment we got off the plane, through all the arrangements (apartment and hotel bookings for a weekend in Prague), and from the medical team.
It only took one visit to be fortunate enough to have five embryos and a little G arrived in our lives on 10 July 2024, bringing us immense joy. We will never forget that without Anna and the Sanus Clinic team, this would not have been possible. Thanks again to them. M&S.

After four years of unsuccessful fertility treatments in France, and reaching the age of 42, we chose the Sanus Clinic to undergo our IVF with double donation. We were supported throughout by Radka, whom we found perfect in her role—responsive, attentive, and very compassionate.
After initial contact with the clinic in September 2021, we had the embryo transfer in February 2022; everything moved very quickly. The trip to the Czech Republic went wonderfully, and we took the opportunity to visit the beautiful city of Prague. At the clinic, I felt that everyone was there to make us feel comfortable.
After the transfer, we were delighted to discover that I was pregnant—on the very first attempt! Our son is now 18 months old and is an absolute joy.
We want to thank the entire Sanus Clinic team from the bottom of our hearts, as it is thanks to them that we were able to fulfil our dream of building a family.

From the very beginning, we were very well supported by the coordinators; everything was clearly explained to us, and we felt reassured to realise our project. Today, thanks to the entire SANUS team, we are proud parents of little twins.

It was thanks to the association "Les Cigognes de l’espoir" that we were directed to the Sanus clinic. Despite moments of doubt linked to the challenges of the journey, the "Weekend in Prague" package offered by the clinic helped us relieve all the stress inherent to this adventure.
From the airport to the clinic bed, the entire staff demonstrated their skills—both in France and on site—to support us with efficiency, kindness, and care: doctors, nurses, caregivers, secretaries, the French-speaking team, drivers… Everyone was wonderful.
Our little boy was born in April 2024. Finally, we hold our miracle in our arms! Thank you, Sanus.
